She was predeceased by: her parents, William Howard Roney and Mary Elizabeth Roney (Seibert); and her husband Bradford Wyckoff Downey. She is survived by: her children, Suzanne D. Rutledge (Fred) of Cornelius, NC, Martha E. Fritz (Steve) of Glen Allen, VA and Norman B. Downey (Beth) of Richmond, VA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
