He was predeceased by: his father Gary Lee Shatzer, Sr.; his uncle Dave Moore, Jr.; his close friend Seth Anderson; and his grandmother Doris Shatzer. He is survived by: his mother Dixie E. Mills (Moore) of Williamsport, MD; his sister Ashley Heflin (CJ); his niece Madelyn; his nephew Charles; his grandparents, Peggy Moats and Donald Moats, Jr.; and his aunts and uncles, John Moore, Jake Moore, Amy Cornett and Cheryl Cosgrove. He is also survived by Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
