She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy White and Anna Elizabeth Burger Elgin; her husband James Richard "Jim" Long; her brothers, Leroy W. Elgin, Jr., John W. "Jack" Elgin and James "Jimmy" Elgin; and her grandson Matt Mellinger.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven K. Long (Linda) of New Oxford, PA and David L. Long (Chrisie) of Hagerstown, MD; her brother P. Phillip Elgin of Hagerstown, MD; and her grandchildren, Tommy Mellinger, Stephanie, Amber Mellinger (Chuck Benjamin), Josh Long, Marissa, Ben Long (Rose), Steph Long-Murphy (Kyle), Jason Long, Kacy, T. J. Socks (Lauren) and Jessica Long. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
