He was predeceased by: his parents, Ione Lindow (Read) and Roswell Lindow; and his siblings, Virginia Eggebrecht and David Lindow. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Lindow (Mann); his children, Adam Lindow and Tara Lindow Carbaugh (Chad); his grandsons, Cooper and Marshall Carbaugh; his sister Karen Lindow Lloyd (Ralph); and his uncle Lloyd Eggebrecht. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
