He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Grafton Sr. and Virginia Edith Sharer Payne; his wife Nellie Mae Payne (Morgan); and his siblings, Audrey P. Grove (Maurice Grove), William E. Ford, Sr. and Thomas A. Payne.
He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Betty Payne and Dawn Ford; his nephew William E. Ford, Jr. (Donna); his niece Paula Slack; his great-nephew Brandon Lerch; and his friends, Kevin Noll (Lois), Robert E. Kuczynski and Dorothy Williams.
