It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine E. Spangler of Williamsport, Maryland, who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Norman Sr. and Pauline Beatrice Banzhoff (Barnhart); her grandson Joshua Horst; and her brothers, Joseph Banzhoff, Robert Banzhoff, Sr., Harry "Had" Banzhoff, Jr. and Thomas Banzhoff.
She is survived by: her husband Gene Spangler, Sr.; her children, Wanda Faulders (Richard) of Sharpsburg, MD and Gene Spangler, Jr. of Williamsport, MD; her grandchildren, Holly Biller (Jake) of Smithsburg, MD, Sarah Spangler of Clear Spring, MD and Jeremy Spangler of New York; her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Shelby Horst, Lainey Biller, Hailey and Leah Gudmundson; and her sisters, Shirley Koogle of Downsville, MD and Bonnie Lee Moats of Williamsport, MD..
