She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph A. Niggemyer and Martha Ann Niggemyer (Steinmetz); and her sister Patricia Ann Niggemyer. She is survived by: her husband Joe George; her sons, Tyler J. George, Joseph A. George and Lucas W. George; her siblings, Joseph A. Niggemyer, Jr. (Barbara), Michael C. Niggemyer (Donna) and Mary Theresa Niggemyer; and her grandson Beckett T. George. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church 17630 Virginia Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21740 or to St. James School 17641 College Road, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
