It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Long of Williamsport, Maryland, born in Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on February 18, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles "Ike" and Ethel Grove Shantz; and her sister Phyllis Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Thomas M. Long; her children, Susan Garling (Kyle) of Williamsport, MD and David Long (Karen) of Hagerstown, MD; her grandsons, Devin Stitely, Grant Long (Julie), Scott Long and Samuel Garling; and her brother Charles "Tom" Shantz.
