She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dickerson and Alice Dickerson; and her siblings, John, Jr., Benny, Dell, Jerry, Dean Dickerson, Wanda Dickerson and Patricia Wyatt.

She is survived by: her husband Louis "Lou" James Massey, Jr.; her son Benjamin "Ben" Roberts (Lisa); and her grandchildren, Brendan, Jeremy, Brady and Bailey Roberts. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
