She is survived by: her family, Shirley Jean Roe and Whiteford, MD; her children, Terry Bennington (Dennis) of Whiteford, MD and Sue Ann Young (Butch) of Darlington, MD.; her grandchildren, Christy Suman (Jeff) of Street, MD, Ashley Ashley (Matt) of Rising Sun, MD, Melinda Maurer (Ray) of Jarrettsville, MD and Jennifer Drennen (Randy) of Conowingo, MD.; and her great grandchildren, Taylor, Meaghen Suman, Hailey Ashley, Renzi, Bryden, Skylee Maurer and Danielle Salata (Luke) of Conowingo, MD..
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial contributions are made to: Darlington Volunteer Fire Company, 2600 Castleton Road Darlington, MD 21034, an organization which Shirley cared deeply for and was an avid volunteer.
