It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Kathryn Markline Harkins of Whiteford, Maryland, who passed away on May 11, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edgar Irving Harkins, Jr.; her parents, John Nicholas Markline, Jr. and Edith Roberta Markline (Smith); her sons, Richard Harkins and George Harkins; and her great grandchild Henry Boyer.
She is survived by: her children, Betsy Galbreath (Tom), Edgar Harkins (Nancy), Kathleen Scott (Bill), Janet Smyers and Charles Harkins (Jean); and her siblings, John Markline, Ben Markline, Mary Smith and Doris Funkhousers. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
