He is survived by: his wife Lynn Gast (Robinson); his children, Jodi Lynn Gast-Woodard (Benjamin) and Joseph Michael Gast, Jr. (Pamela); his brother Wayne Alan Gast, Sr. (Mary); and his grandchildren, Kara Mae Dragunas (Jensen Morris), Ryan Joseph Dragunas, Trent David Gast-Woodard (Lily Pitzer), Jacob Joseph Gast (Breanna Fritsch) and Emilee Jo Gast-Woodard.
