He is survived by: his wife Joy Hoge Merryman (Monsees); his children, Cheryl Merryman Ambrose (Jeffrey), Bryan Carey Merryman (Sandra) of Port St and Maury Merryman Thackston (Brent); his stepchildren, Scott Hoge (Jan) and Marcia Hart (Jeff); his grandchildren, Derek Macomber, Erin Merryman, Patrick Merryman, Kaitlyn Merryman, Parker Hoge, James Hoge, Elizabeth Hart, Laura Hart and Nathaniel Hart; his great grandchild His; and his sister-in-law Lucy Merryman.
