It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Arthur Anawalt of White Plains, Maryland, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on August 10, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Charles and Della Adcock Anawalt; his wife Madeline; and his sons, Bradley Anawalt (Deborah), Steven Anawalt and Andrew Anawalt (Elise). He was also cherished by eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in Richard's name to the American Cancer Society.
