She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Barbour and Alice K. Boswell Barbour; her husband John Howard Apperson; and her siblings, Charles W. Barbour, Willard J. Barbour, Kathleen Barbour Morgan, Carl Barbour, Patsy J. Barbour Bryant, Leonard Barbour, Franklin Barbour, Sharon L. Barbour Bartlett and James F. Barbour.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Ann Warner, Jeffrey A. Apperson (Lori), Kelly M. Williams (Mark), Sharon L. Elkins (Keith), Jody L. Burch (Robert) and Charles E. Apperson (Stephanie). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
