He was predeceased by: his parents, June Wawro (Bryant) and Anthony Wawro; and his wife Michelina "Marlene" Wawro. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Lambeth (Homer) and Diane Nunez Mendoza (Eddy); his grandchildren, Justin Lambeth, Andrew Lambeth, Jared Lambeth, Percy and Aztec; his sister Linda Witkowski (Rus); his niece Bridget Rucci Campbell (Mark); and his nephews, David Rucci and Brian Wawro.
