We bid farewell to James Alfred Anderson of White Plains, Maryland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 13, 2025 at the age of 79. James Alfred touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, James Alfred shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James Alfred farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Anderson and Katie-Bell Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Terri Anderson; his children, Michelle Anderson and Michael Anderson; and his sisters, Barbara Winstead and Kathy Anzelmo. He is also survived by 3 Sister-in-laws, 3 Brother-in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church (1200 Charles St, La Plata, MD 20646). The inurnment will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery (11301 Crain Hwy, Cheltenham, MD 20623).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in James' name may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 1200 Charles Street, La Plata, Maryland 20646.
