It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Hemsley (White Plains, Maryland), who passed away on May 8, 2019, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, John Houston Penny Jr., Peter Hemsley and Dorothy Hilton. She is survived by: her children, Ida, Everyone and Deonta Butler; her parents, Robin Ann Hemsley and Ferdinand Hemsley; her siblings, Robert Darnell Farmer, Ale Amare and Sheila Thompson; her nephew Michael Young; her niece Dajah Farmer; her great-niece Maliah Young; her great-nephew Michael Young, Jr. (MJ); her niece-in-law Joana Sims; her grandmother Estelle E. Penny; her fiancé Deon Butler; and her godmother Sheila Washington. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends.
