It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve St. Arnold Brooks of White Plains, Maryland, who passed away on December 28, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Arnold and Isabelle St. Arnold; her husband Mark Brooks; and her son-in-law William "Billy" Shumaker. She is survived by: her siblings, Ulyses "Sam" St. Arnold [Audrey] and Julie Brown; her children, Gayle Shumaker, Darrell Brooks, Theodore "Ted" Brooks [Melissa] and Jeannine Brooks [Harold]; her grandchildren, Clayton Fortney [Ashley], Dale Brooks, Melissa Fortney [Richard], Miranda Brooks and Scott Brooks; and her stepgrandchildren, Steven Byus [Sarah], James Byus, III, Josh Shumaker, Amanda Sansbury [Scott] and Kelly Kolb [Manning]. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
At this time all services will be private due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
