He was predeceased by: his brothers, Paul and Billy; and his stepdaughter Brenda. He is survived by: his parents, Riley Paul Pope and Carrie Rena Chenault Pope; his wife Shirley Ann Bryant Pope; his children, Darryl (Nancy), Wendy (Nelson) and Shannon (Carolyn); his stepson Donny; his sister Barbara; and his great grandchildren, Aliyana, Esteban, Liam, Cora, Baylee and Aleigh.
