He was predeceased by: his former wife Margaret "Peggy" Skinner; his son Donald A. "Donnie" Skinner, Jr.; his stepson David Brown; and his brother-in-law Billy Paulk. He is survived by: his parents, George Louis Skinner and Hazel Madeline Scott Skinner; his wife Myrtle A. Skinner; his children, Joseph "Joey" Skinner and Diane Hastings (Gary); and his stepchildren, Kenneth Brown, Jr., Keith Brown, Sharon Schutt, Daryl Brown, Lisa Rosado and Michael Brown. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
