He was predeceased by: his parents, Lundy Sanders Taylor, Sr. and Ruth Ester Taylor; and his son David E. Taylor II. He is survived by: his significant other Sandra Sue Whitt Taylor; his daughter Dr. Jennifer Taylor-Cox (Donald Cox); his daughter-in-law Teri Taylor; his grandchildren, Samantha Meekins (James), Danielle Cox, Joseph Cox (Sarah), Kassidy Patrick (Ryan), Kolby Taylor, Kirkland Taylor and Kayla Taylor; his great grandchildren, Sophia Meekins, Isabella Meekins and Leo Patrick; and his siblings, Lundy Sanders Taylor, Jr., Mildred Wilson (Tommy Joe) and Zelma Mast. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
