She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Elizabeth Dorsey and Merlin Joseph Butler; her husband James A. Briscoe "Poddie"; and her children, Yvonne and David.
She is survived by: her children, Juanita Briscoe, Barbara Rawlings (Donald), Gerald Briscoe (Kim), Paulette Price (James), Renee Douglas (Ronald), Andre Briscoe and Crystal Hall (Bart); and her siblings, Alice Plater (Preston), June Maclin and Louis Bowman (Thelma). She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
Viewing will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (13715 Notre Dame Pl, Bryantown, MD 20617). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Marys Catholic Church Cemetery (13715 Notre Dame Pl, Bryantown, MD 20617).
