Mary McCollum Obituary
Mary Leona McCollum, age 74, of White Hall, died Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at her residence. She was born May 3, 1930 in Elkhart, Indiana, the daughter of Homer and Marie Rish LaMunyon. She married Clyde Ray McCollum, Sr. on April 10, 1964 in Paris, Illinois and he survives. She is also survived by four sons, Darrell (wife, Hasuko) Raymond of Petersburg, Virginia; Robert (wife, Sarah) Raymond of White Hall; Lawrence Richey of Summerfield and Clyde McCollum, Jr. of Lake, Michigan; four daughters, Marie (husband, Bill) Price of Riverside, CA; Lorene (husband, Tex) Stokes of Mattoon; Ethel Richey of New Orleans, LA and Trish Gray of White Hall; two foster sons, James Rice and Emory ?Pete?
Rice, both of Roodhouse; 28 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; two brothers, Bill Potter of Goshen, IN and Byron LaMunyon of Goshen, IN and one sister, Margaret Bradey of Hopesville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by one son, Eb Richey (surviving wife, Debbie of Murrayville); 2 great grandsons, one sister, Anna and two brothers, Homer LaMunyon, Jr. and Charles LaMunyon.
Mrs. McCollum worked in several nursing homes as a cook and a nurse?s aid and had been a cook at the North End Restaurant. She was a Tupperware representative for over 20 years. She loved to read, do puzzles, camping and traveling to see her kids. Cremation rites have been accorded and future services will be announced at a later date.
Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in White Hall is in charge of arrangements.
