He was predeceased by: his wife Mary I. Gemmill; his parents, Harry A. Gemmill Sr. and Mary Louise Gemmill (Bruce); and his brother Harry A. Gemmill Jr.. He is survived by: his children, George R. Gemmill (Karen), Mary Beth Gemmill and Mark Gemmill; and his grandsons, Michael and Tim Hutcheson.
