It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Lee Pope of Westover, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on September 13, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Woodley and Margaret Joynes Maddox; her husband Raymond E. Pope; and her son Stephon Walker. She is survived by: her children, Lewis Walker III, Dr. Renee Pope, Marla Walker, Carolyn Cooke (Robert), Carla Wood and Teri A. Walker; and her brother Robert Woodley. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
