It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry James Powell (Westover, Maryland), born in Crisfield, Maryland, who passed away on September 8, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenzo Quell and Ella Jane Henderson Powell. He is survived by: his wife Mary Hartsfield Powell of Marion; his children, Jean Powell Walter (Jakob, Jr.) of Marion and Larry James Powell, Jr. (Tammy) of Marion; his grandchildren, Dr. Jessica Walter of Marion, Jaclyn Rigby (Robert) of Sterling, VA, Jakob Walter, III (Roberta) of Marion, James Powell (Dawn) of Chambersburg, PA and Kristy Thomas (Jamie) of Salisbury; his great grandchild Jakob Walter, IV; his brothers, Steve Powell of Marion and Gary Powell of Marion; and his nieces and nephews, Violet, John Hilton of Perry, FL, Brian Powell (Ashley) of Ashburn, VA and Stacey Powell of Virginia.
