With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doreen Emily Mahan Bishop of Westover, Maryland, born in Crisfield, Maryland, who passed away on January 9, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chloa Kreider Mahan and Walter Mahan; her husband Charles William Bishop; her children, Vicky Bishop Ford and David Olan Bishop; her siblings, Donald Mahan, Grant Mahan, Philip Mahan, Daniel Mahan, Lillus Nelson, Priscilla Ward, Dorothy Mahan and Catherine Riggin; and her parents-in-law, Curtis Bucher, Dicky Ward, Marge Mahan, Betty Mahan, Leroy "Barney" Riggin, Louise Mahan, Emily Bishop Lockfaw, Raymond Bishop, Jr. and Arthur Lee Bishop.
She is survived by: her stepmother Anna Mahan; her children, Charles Steven Bishop (Cathy) of Cordova, Glen William Bishop (Gladys Jane) of Marion Station and Cindy Bishop Dize (Bill) of Westover; her sisters, Patricia Bucher of Pennsylvania and Martha Schrock (Cecil) of Westover; her foster brother Eddie Hall (Gayle) of Girdletree; her sister-in-law Pat Mahan of Princess Anne; her grandchildren, Jeremy Bishop, Emily Ford Larmore (Chris), Russell Ford (Chelsea), Jason Dize, Elaine Daniels (John) and Derek Dize (Stephanie); and her great grandchildren, Yurii Christopher Larmore, Jillian Sophie Larmore, Colton Elmer Larmore, Brynn Marie Larmore, Elliott Grace Larmore, Bristyn Rae Ford, Emmalyn Charlee Ford, Isaiah Bishop, Cooper Bishop and Lillie Mae Dize. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
