He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Holmes Lockard and Leonora Harman Lockard; his brothers, Lynn and Brian; and his nephew Bruce Lockard.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Myers Lockard; his former wife Alice Deardorff Lockard; his children, Susan Posey (Tyler), Jeffrey Lockard (Nancy) and David Lockard (Susan); and his stepchildren, Curtis Arbaugh (Lia) and Elizabeth Kalbacher (Donald).
