He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Robert Davis and Lina Francis Uhler Davis; and his siblings, Rebecca Barnes, Charlotte Davis, Gloria Maier, Cedric Davis and Robert C. Davis, Jr..

He is survived by: his daughter Jessica Davis; his stepdaughter Tracie Ingle; and his siblings, Beanie Doan, Len, Lee and Larry Davis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
