He was predeceased by: his wife Martha K. Petry (Hetrick); his parents, David Oscar and Mabel Petry (Robertson); his son Sterling G. Petry, Jr.; his brothers, Junior, Donald and Bobby; and his half-brother Jeff.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Green of Westminster and Raymond Petry (Tracy) of Westminster; his grandson Brad (Danielle Green); his great grandchild Teaghen; his grandson Timothy Petry; his siblings, Chris Petry, Ed Petry and Doris Zeitz; and his half-siblings, Patricia Petry Yingling, Judy Petry Zepp, Thomas Petry, Richard Petry and Billy Petry. He is also survived by many loving in-laws, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial scholarship fund has been established in Pete's memory.
