It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Plunkert of Westminster, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on July 29, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Frederick and Anna Marie Quatman (Messina); and her husband James Allen Plunkert, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, James Allen Plunkert, Jr. (Mary) of Westminster, Anita Ann Plunkert of Littlestown, PA, Steven Allen Plunkert of Hanover, PA, Brenda Ann Mendenhall of Walker, LA and Sandra Ann Milter of Gettysburg, PA; and her siblings, Albert W. Quatman of Randallstown, MD, Marguerite Beil of Hanover, PA and Frederick B. Quatman of St. Petersburg, FL. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
