He is survived by: his children, Allen Schaeffer (Melody) of Frederick and Cindy Schaeffer (Jim Grice) of Baltimore; and his sisters, Doris Hoffman (Buddy) of Clinton, TN and Jane Rosensteel (Dan) of Lewes, DE.. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
