We are sad to announce that on April 28, 2018, at the age of 91, Russell McComas Schmidt (Westminster, Maryland), born in Oakland, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent George C.; and his siblings, Thomas Schmidt, Olen E. Schmidt and Hazel E. Bloom. He is survived by: his spouse Elsie "May" Schmidt (Ford); his parent Jessie I. Schmidt (McComas); and his children, Larry M. Schmidt (Judith) of Clarksville, TN, Brenda E. Trowbridge (Allen) of York, PA, Aaron E. Schmidt of Westminster and Ann L. Mertens (John) of Westminster. He is also survived by his four children, and mostly he delighted in being with his grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
