Ruby Emery Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2021, Ruby Emery (Westminster, Maryland), born in Charles City, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jefferson and Delores Jefferson (Whitehead); her husband Louis Emery, Jr. of Washington; and her daughter Susan Elaine Emery. She is survived by: her children, David Emery (Marcel) of Kathleen, GA, Paula DiNatale (Tom) of Finksburg, MD and Louis. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 12:00 p. m. at the Sandymount United Methodist Church, 2101 Old Westminster Pike, Finksburg, MD. (Mandatory covid restrictions remain in place. Please contact a family member if you would like to attend to discuss space limitations).
Given Ruby's lifelong love of learning, in lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Chickahominy Indian tribe Scholarship Fund, 8200 Lott Cary Road, Providence Forge, VA 23140.
