He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Smith and Mamie Smith (Roberts); his sisters, Barbara Donoff and Wilma Haga; and his parents-in-law, Jane and Dick Byers.
He is survived by: his wife Carla S. Smith; his children, Debra Brown of Littlestown, PA, Mark Smith of Westminster, Kevin Smith of Westminster, Lisa Kilmartin (George) of Hampstead and Terri Marlin (Bob) of Westminster; his siblings, Brenda Thomas (George E.) of Oakland, David Smith (Palma) of Eldersburg and C. Dennis; his sister-in-law Sherry Byers of Eldersburg; his daughter-in-law Kim Woltman (Rod) of Hanover, PA; his grandchildren, Jared, Jaimie Brown, Kory Smith, Tara Allen and Susan Cason; and his great grandchildren, Owen Rothhaar, Lukas, Asher Allen and Greyson Brown. He is also survived by his sons and grandsons.
