He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Edwin T. Cox and Hilda G. Cox; his wife Jeanne L. Cox; his daughters, Bonnie (Michael Orzechowski) of Olathe, KS and Wendy (Barry Messersmith) of Millsboro, DE; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Christopher, Katherine and Mary.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of the Ascension (23 N Court St, Westminster, MD 21157). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ascension Episcopal Church (23 N Court St, Westminster, MD 21157).
