He was predeceased by: his parent Maurice E. Eckenrode; and his wife Phyllis "Pinky" Eckenrode (Bright). He is survived by: his parent Elizabeth Abbey Eckenrode (Brunner); his siblings, Elmer Eckenrode of Westminster and Iva Krenzer of Emmitsburg; and his close friends, Darlene Jones of Westminster, Brenda Shaffer Toporzycki of Westminster and Eddie Foy of Westminster.
