He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Stahley (Overholtzer) and William Stahley; his wife Ellen; and his siblings, Frances Stahley, Caroline Ward, Paul Stahley, Bernie Stahley, Mary Bailey, Sonny Stahley and Kenny Stahley.

He is survived by: his children, Steven Stahley, Brett Stahley, Kelly Janes, Karen Homme and Karla Stahley; and his sisters, Dottie Liggon and Ruth Utz. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
