He was predeceased by: his mother Sadie M. Luers. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Luers (Kitty); his daughters, Linda Long (Dave) of Manchester and Patricia Booze of Pinehurst, NC; his grandsons, Brian Long (Megan), Jason Booze and Robert Booze (Taylor); and his great grandchildren, Wyatt Mae Long and Logan Booze. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services (254 E Main St, Westminster, MD 21157). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Humane Society of Carroll County, at hscarroll.org/donate or 2517 Littlestown Pike, Westminster, Maryland 21158 or any animal rescue group.
