It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Eugene Linton of Westminster, Maryland, who passed away on February 25, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Medford Linton and Bessie Savannah Esworthy Linton; his wife Gracie Elkins Linton; his sisters, Margaret Bowers and Marie Fritz; his son-in-law Dave Spangler; and his grandson Adam Gilmore.
He is survived by: his daughters, Loretta Spangler, Roberta Sass (Ed) and Gracie Gilmore (Rick); his brother Allen Wayne Jenkins; and his grandchildren, Nathan Spangler (Jordan), Matthew Spangler, Andrew Spangler (Erin), Christopher Sass (Meagan), Jonathan Sass (Anna), Rebekah Sass and Bradley Gilmore (Chelsea). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
