He is survived by: his wife Nancy A. Pedersen; his children, Robert Keith Nicolay and Denise Linn Safko (Gregory); his grandsons, Trevor M. Safko (Ania) and Robert P. Safko; and his great grandchild Zoë Safko. He is also survived by uncle to his nieces and nephews.
