He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul E. Bankert and Mary Elizabeth Beall Bankert; and his brother Grove Bankert. He is survived by: his wife Irene Meunier Bankert; his children, Nanette E. Gover (Milton) of Finksburg, Kevin P. Bankert (Jennifer) of Westminster, Miki B. Fitzgerald (Butch) of Westminster and Dani L. Schubert of Westminster; his sister-in-law Connie Bankert of Silver Run; and his grandchildren, Kenzie Fitzgerald, Connor Fitzgerald, Kylee Schubert and Emily Bankert.
