It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Ahlers of Westminster, Maryland, born in Edison, New Jersey, who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Charles and Gloria Catherine Ahlers (Gennaro); his wife Cindy F. Ahlers; his children, Mark Ahlers (Jenn) of York, PA, Erica Littleton (Doug) of Hanover, PA and Lauren Kares-Yelk (Joe) of Littlestown, PA; his grandchildren, Ethan, Aidan, Ben, Jamison, Luke and Lily; his brothers, John Ahlers (Carmela) of New Jersey, Tom Ahlers (Diane) of Arizona and Robert Ahlers of New Jersey; and his mother-in-law Jane Fields Roach of Salisbury.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel (412 Washington Rd, Westminster, MD 21157). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
