She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hammond Gist and Hilda Harrell (Hoff); her husband Harold Bruce Shatzer, Jr.; her son Steven L. Shatzer; her daughter-in-law C. J. Stiles; and her brothers, Charles R., Edward L., Paul N. and Ronnie L. Gist.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell L. Bowers of Hanover, PA, H. Bruce Shatzer of Westminster and Kimberly D. Smallhorn of Greencastle, PA; her grandchildren, Jessica Lutman (Randy), Adrienne Shipley (Rob), Kelly Bowers, C. James Long, Jeremy Long (Misty) and Kathleen Crown (Nate); her sister Lillian J. Muller; and her sister-in-law Audrey Gist of Westminster. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
