He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer A. Kight and Lottie Fike Kight; his wife Shirley Ann Kight; his children, Robert A., David W. Kight and Ruthie A. Peterson; and his siblings, Arlene Brandenburg, Norma L. Peterson, Elma Turek and Trenton Kight.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra L. Whaley (Billy) of Westminster and Teresa A. Mallow (Norman) of West Virginia. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
