Mittie Coppersmith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mittie Coppersmith (Westminster, Maryland), who passed away on October 26, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond J. Coppersmith, Jr.; her parents, Walter Martin Blauvelt and Eutha Keyser Blauvelt; and her siblings, Thomas H., Walter "Pete", Howard, Luther, Frank, Lewis Blauvelt, Mary Ellen Haines and Virginia Beard.
She is survived by: her children, Joan L. Docimo (Fred Ruth) of Hanover, David M. Coppersmith Sr. (Sara) of Westminster and Carole D.; her grandchildren, Kevin Calp (Dusti), David "Bud" Coppersmith (Missy), Ashley Carnegie (Alex) and Leeann; her brother Britney; her great grandchildren, Alexandra Calp, Elizabeth and Anna Coppersmith; her siblings, Robert, Lawrence Blauvelt, Rose Haller, Jean Seitz (Kenneth) and Joan Phillips; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Blauvelt, James, Perry, Kenneth Coppersmith and Esther McComas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. John's Evangelical (Leisters) Lutheran Church, Disabled American Veterans or to Carroll Hospice.
