It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael R. Hecht Sr. (Westminster, Maryland), who passed away on May 20, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolf Hecht and Ingrid Schneider of Stuttgart, Germany.; and his brother Jeremy Hecht of College Park, Maryland.. He is survived by: his wife Helen Brogden Riley (MissHelen); his children, Michael Hecht Jr. (Amber) of Burlington and Heidi Harris (Chad) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Sawyer, Stella and Michael; and his brother Rudolf Hecht of Potomac, Maryland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Historic Shriver Graveyard, Inc., 7200 Third Avenue, C95, Sykesville, MD 21784.
