He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold R. Meadows and Willie F. Meadows (Offenbacher); his children, Melvin Ray Meadows, Jr. and Gwenda Marie Barnes; his grandson Blaine Martin Shifflett, Jr.; and his siblings, Pauline Good, Maxine Wood, William Meadows and Frances Mullins.
He is survived by: his wife Reba M. Meadows (Snyder); his children, George Meadows, Sr., Deborah Hunt (Larry), Debbie Scott (Jason), Gail Beall (David), Donna Williams (Randy), Lyn Mallick (Lee) and Melany Meadows-LaRochelle (David); and his grandsons, Anthony LaRochelle, Bradley Beall, Bryan LaRochelle, John Bezilla, Jacob Mallick and Caden LaRochelle.
