With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Katherine (Kay) Newcomb of Westminster, Maryland, who passed away on December 20, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia S. Strohminger and William H. Wherrette. She is survived by: her husband John W. Newcomb; and her daughters, Joyce Mirfin (James) of Manchester and Joan Ogaitis (John) of Mount Airy. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
It was her request that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to a worthy charity.
